Columbus, OH (WorkersCompensation.com) - Five Ohio research teams will share $1.5 million in grants through BWC’s Ohio Occupational Safety and Health Research Program. The grants are awarded annually to fund research that maximizes impact on overall safety, health, productivity, and competitiveness of Ohio’s workforce.
“Research is critical to improving occupational safety and health,” said BWC Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud. “The work being done by these researchers will provide invaluable insights for Ohio’s employers.”
The five teams operate at two of Ohio’s public universities:

Each grant provides approximately $300,000 to the research team over a two-year period.
BWC has been operating the Research Program since 2017. Since inception, it has funded 22 research projects, providing over $5 million in research grants to Ohio universities.
