Columbus,OH(WorkersCompensation.com) - From utilizing telematics data to reduce distracted driving to identifying apprenticeship opportunities for students working to earn their degree, Nationwide employees across the enterprise are making instrumental contributions daily to positively impact their colleagues, customers and communities.
Celebrated annually, the CEO Awards are an opportunity to recognize the employees who go the extra mile to deliver on Nationwide’s mission of protecting people, businesses and futures with extraordinary care.
This year, more than 100 employees across the enterprise were peer-nominated for the awards and the 25 winners were selected by Nationwide CEO Kirt Walker and his executive leadership team.
“This talented group of individuals is passionate about what they do and live out our mission daily,” Walker said. “These awards help us honor those who go far beyond expectations and whose work represents the very best achievements across all of Nationwide.”
Receiving a CEO Award is the highest recognition a Nationwide employee can earn. This year, the winners were nominated in categories like continuous improvement, customer centricity, delivering results, innovation and living Nationwide’s values.
“We are honored to recognize this year's CEO Award winners,” Chief Human Resources Officer Vinita Clements said. “Our people make Nationwide a special place to work and celebrating these achievements is imperative to our continued success.”
