IOH Announces Appointment of Scott Strickland as Chief Operating Officer (COO)

SAN DIEGO, CA — July 1, 2024 — Institutes of Health (“IOH”), a leading transdisciplinary Workers’ Compensation treatment organization focused on patients suffering from complex and chronic conditions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Strickland as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Until now, Elic Anbar has been filling the roles of both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Elic will continue as Chief Executive Officer, now having the time to dedicate to the growing executive needs of IOH and focusing on the opening of future Anaheim and Los Angeles clinic locations.
Scott is a seasoned leader with a track record of success across diverse healthcare organizations. Notably, Scott's journey in healthcare began as a Physical Therapist, ascending through various management roles with a steadfast commitment to excellence. This gives him a deep understanding of all aspects of an organization such as ours, both clinical and management.

With a background in driving operational excellence and growth, Scott joins IOH from Work Health Solutions, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to that, Scott advanced to the role of Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Therapy Operations at US HealthWorks, where he managed a network of 221 locations across the United States.
