Conner Reappointed as Workers' Compensation Judge

                               

Nashville,TN (WorkersCompensation.com) - Governor Bill Lee has reappointed Timothy W. Conner as a judge on the Tennessee Bureau of  Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Appeals Board. 

Judge Conner has served on the Appeals Board since August 2014 and became Presiding Judge in January 2020. Prior to his initial appointment, the longtime Farragut resident practiced law for 22 years in Knoxville and Chattanooga.

“Since his first day on the Appeals Board, Judge Conner has served the state of Tennessee and the workers’ compensation system with integrity, fairness, and a commitment to applying the law correctly," said Abbie Hudgens, BWC Administrator. "As a presiding judge, he has been instrumental in maintaining the excellent reputation of the Appeals Board and I am grateful he will continue for another term.”

He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Judge Conner is also an adjunct professor at Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law, where he teaches Legal Writing and Workers’ Compensation Law. 

Judge Conner is married with two daughters and one grandson and is an active member of First Baptist Concord, where he enjoys participating as a musician in the worship ministry.
