Hows the weather near you....?

It is getting really sickening here, We started our winter early then turned cold right from the get go. Now that we have warmed back up we have been getting hammered with snow. Lastnight we actually had a thunder snow storm with lightening it was awesome to watch but we got 8 more inches with it. Seriously, our snow bank going to the house is higher than the mini van. The snow is level with the front deck and the back deck you cant even tell its there being 4 1/2 ft tall.

This snow has to go down by Jayne..........lol.

Well I hate to say it got to 60 here yesterday but we had tornado's in the area. It was freezing rain the other day and with all the snow on the ground it was slick and now today it's just very mushy. Only in the 40's but I can deal with that

4:30 in the afternoon and it is 60 and windy in Kansas.

NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate that crap

........I love cats, I just cant eat a whole one by myself......

It has been in the 70's in California all week. It seems like we do not actually even have a real winter season. I bought winter clothes for Christmas that rarely get used (California problems).

I am actually jealous of you guys who get snow. I have not seen snow in over 10 years, and that was when I went to another state.

I am not an attorney.Anything I write should not be considered legal advice.I am writing from my own personal experiences, which is not from any sort of legal background. You should consult with an attorney over legal issues. In California, if you cannot get an attorney you can consult with an I&A officer.

I don't mind the snow so much but it's the cold that gets me. We are on a 9 day stretch again with lows below zero and highs only in the single digits. The first snow fall is always welcomed but right around the first of the year I'm ready for it to go away. I will be happy when we start hitting 40's and by the looks of things it is not very soon. With the amount of snow this year it will take the middle of may to melt it all.....

The winter here has reminded me of when I was a kid. We have had the hardest winter here in years. With having surgery about a month ago now I've been staying in recovering so that has helped. It's been so icy I don't want to risk falling down as well. Only good thing is I hope it has been cold enough to cut down on the bugs we see this spring and summer.

I can agree with that one, we have had a wide range spread of midge in our balsam trees. What it is , is a fly that winterizes deep in the soil around the tree. Once its warm enough they crawl out and lay eggs and the new growth's and once they hatch they eat the ends of the growth leaving just a stick come oct. With this deep freeze winter and the amount of snow hopefully it will screw up the egg laying which occurs in may. When we moved here I hand planted balsams on our south west property line and have kept them pruned. They are now so infested they look terrible..
