Women’s History Month 2025: Get Ready for a Month of Power, Progress, and Possibility

March is almost here, and that means one thing: it is time to celebrate, elevate, and empower women in workers’ compensation like never before!
At WorkersCompensation.com, this is more than just an acknowledgment of Women’s History Month. This is about taking action! Last year, in 2024, we launched our first-ever Women’s History Month series, spotlighting 45 extraordinary women who are making an impact in the workers’ compensation space. Their stories inspired, challenged, and showcased the resilience, leadership, and brilliance of women in this industry. These women shared insights on how they navigated their careers, the lessons they have learned, and the obstacles they have overcome.
For 2025, we are building upon that momentum. We are not only bringing back the 31 Women of Influence series, featuring a mix of new voices and incredible follow-ups from last year’s honorees, but we are also expanding the scope of this initiative.
This year, we are dedicating an entire month to helping women succeed.
This is not just about celebrating remarkable women. This is about giving women the tools, knowledge, and strategies they need to elevate their careers, claim their power, and confidently navigate their workplaces. Many challenges still exist for women in the workforce such as gaps in pay, lack of representation in leadership roles, unconscious bias, and the constant balancing act of professional and personal life. Women deserve to have the skills and confidence to overcome these barriers, and that is why this initiative is about more than recognition.
So, get ready for a power-packed month featuring:
- Thirty-one stories of women who inspire us—leaders, trailblazers, and change-makers who are shaping the future of workers’ compensation.
- Thirty-one game-changing topics—tangible, actionable insights on everything from closing the pay gap to negotiating raises, building leadership presence, overcoming imposter syndrome, and owning space in male-dominated industries.
Women’s voices in workers’ compensation have never been louder, prouder, or more necessary. Women are claims adjusters, risk managers, executives, attorneys, human resource professionals, and entrepreneurs. Women are innovators and disruptors, reshaping this industry from the inside out.
Despite this progress, barriers still exist. The wage gap persists, leadership positions remain male-dominated, and women still find themselves having to prove their worth in ways that men do not. This is why we are not just telling stories this year—we are offering solutions.
Meet the Women Who Inspire Us
One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s series is revisiting some of last year’s incredible women. Their stories were powerful in 2024, but what has happened since then?
- Have they reached a major career milestone?
- Have they stepped into a leadership role?
- Have they faced new challenges and come out stronger?
- Have they pivoted, evolved, or shattered expectations?
This year, we are telling the next chapter of their stories because women’s success does not stop. It grows, expands, and accelerates. Even more so, these stories inspire us to show up, do better, and bring others with us.
Alongside these follow-ups, we are also introducing brand-new voices—women who are making an impact in ways big and small. These women are proving that leadership, influence, and change come in many forms.
Empowering Women with Knowledge: Thirty-One Days, Thirty-One Topics
In addition to celebrating phenomenal women, we are bringing thirty-one thought-provoking, skill-building, career-enhancing topics to help women navigate the workplace with confidence.
Here is a sneak peek of what is coming:
- Negotiating Pay with Confidence – Breaking down the art of asking for, and receiving, what is deserved.
- Breaking Barriers in Leadership – How to step up, take charge, and lead with authority.
- Overcoming Imposter Syndrome – Shutting down self-doubt and owning expertise.
- Claiming Space at the Table – Strategies to be seen, heard, and valued.

Every single day in March, a new story or topic will be released—real insights from real women who are paving the way.
This is More Than a Celebration…We started a Movement!
WorkersCompensation.com has always been about more than just news, it is about people! In our 25th anniversary year, we are making a bold statement: Women in this industry matter. Their voices matter. Their success matters.
The reality is that women should not have to work harder than men to be valued, promoted, or respected. They should not have to struggle to find mentors, advocates, and fair opportunities. The workplace should be an equal playing field, yet the statistics continue to show gaps in leadership, compensation, and recognition.
This is why this initiative is not just a feel-good feature series, but a platform to drive conversation, action, and meaningful change.
When women share their stories, it provides visibility. When women learn new skills, they gain confidence. When women support one another, entire industries evolve. This is what this month is about.
As we prepare for an incredible month of inspiration and empowerment, we invite everyone—women, men, industry leaders, and advocates—to join the conversation.
Share the stories. Discuss the topics. Engage with the content. Support the women in your workplace.
We are here. We are rising. And we are bringing every single woman in this industry with us.
March 1, it begins.
