In the sacred space where service meets spirit, you will find Lucia Galindo—grace in motion, a soul-centered leader, and a luminous presence in every room she enters. Her impact in the workers' compensation space is profound, but her magic? It stretches far beyond. Lucia is a death doula, a business coach, a yoga teacher, and a quiet revolutionary, harmonizing operational excellence with unshakable compassion. She transforms spaces with her softness, clarity, and intention. Last year, we introduced you to this angel on earth. This year, we invite you into the next chapter of her extraordinary journey.
A New Chapter, A New Calling
After 13 years with RehabOne Medical Group, Lucia stepped away from a long-held chapter to embrace new beginnings with an open heart. Today, she serves as a Business Coach for PeakEvals, a California-based service organization that supports Medical Legal Evaluators. It is a new career direction, but in true Lucia fashion, she has met it with openness, purpose, and quiet confidence.
This transition is a continuation of her lifelong mission to bring humanity into every room, every role, and every system. She does more than coach business practices; she guides people toward deeper meaning and higher integrity. And in the midst of all this? She built a website, published thought-provoking blogs, and celebrated a beautiful personal milestone: her niece's quinceañera. These seemingly small moments mirror her essence—Lucia knows that life is lived most fully in the space between the big things.
Slowing Down to Soar
This past year, Lucia was met with an unexpected challenge—an injury that altered her processing speed. This new rhythm was jarring for someone who once moved at the pace of systems, strategies, and surgical precision. But rather than resist, she surrendered. She chose grace. She let go of the hustle and allowed the lesson to unfold: slowing down does not mean stepping back. It means stepping into self-love, patience, and the unshakable knowing that worth is not measured in productivity.
The world might value speed, but Lucia is teaching us that there is immeasurable strength in stillness, that resilience is often wrapped in gentleness, and that the body knows what the soul needs, even when the calendar does not.
Wisdom in Simplicity
Ask Lucia her guiding mantra these days, and it is beautifully simple: “Is it good enough?”
This mantra is a surrender to self-kindness. In a world addicted to perfection, Lucia reminds us that our best changes daily and that our best is always enough. Reframing to our best is not just practical—it is radical. It permits others to breathe, recalibrate, and release the impossible standard of always being "on." She is not lowering the bar. Lucia redefines success through the lens of sustainability and self-compassion.
A Life Rooted in Boundaries and Blooming with Joy
Lucia's fierce devotion to personal and professional growth is anchored in one powerful word: boundaries. Boundaries with her time. Boundaries with her energy. Boundaries even with her own ambitions, so she doesn’t overextend in the name of “doing more.” These invisible lines have become her greatest protectors, allowing her to move through life with more intention and less depletion.
For Lucia, growth looks like a dance, nourishing meals, and the rhythm of her breath guides her from the yoga mat into daily life. As a yoga teacher, she's long known how to follow the breath. But this year, she's applying that principle to everything: her work, her choices, and her relationships. Flow isn't just a yoga concept—it's a life strategy.
The Beauty of Solitude, The Power of Connection
In a surprising twist, Lucia discovered a new appreciation for solitude. Once energized by constant connection, she now finds herself grounded in quiet. Alone time, she says, has become a sacred space for reflection, rejuvenation, and realignment.
Yet, she remains deeply committed to building community—spaces where like-minded souls can gather, grow, and give. That's her duality: she thrives in stillness but shines in shared purpose. Her gift is knowing when to pull close and when to release. Lucia's energetic discernment is revolutionary in a world that often demands constant access.
Life, Unfiltered
When asked what message she hopes to leave with those who read her story, Lucia offers a truth that lands like poetry:
"Life is so much more than work, deadlines, and responsibilities. It is the laughter shared with friends, the quiet moments of reflection, the adventures to unknown places, and the beauty of simply being present. Don't let the pressure of productivity steal your joy—success isn't just measured in achievements, but in the love you share, the memories you create, and the peace you cultivate.”
Lucia reminds us to pause, dance, call our people, and watch the sunset. We should remember that joy is not a reward for hard work; the sacred thread makes the work worth it.
An Angel Among Us
Lucia Galindo is a human angel in every sense of the phrase. She walks through the world with reverence for people, process, and presence. Whether guiding someone through the tender threshold of death, coaching professionals toward their next breakthrough, or simply pausing to hug a loved one a little longer, she is doing holy work.
And that is her legacy—not just her accomplishments, but her way of being. In every role, she leads with softness. In every space, she brings light. Her life is a prayer, a dance, a whisper of what’s possible when we root ourselves in love and live from that place.
Lucia, thank you for gracing us again. You have not only influenced the field—you have, once again, transformed it. Your journey is a lighthouse for all who are navigating the tides of life, reminding us that even in the most challenging moments, we can return to ourselves, to nature, to breath.
To presence. To peace. To purpose.
