Annapolis, MD (WorkersCompensation.com) -- The march toward a paper-free future continues in Maryland, where new rules take away another old school option for workers' compensation filings.

As a reminder, in Maryland, forms submitted must be current and as provided by the Commission.  Nothing shocking there.

Likewise, exhibits for hearings are required to be uploaded to the case file at least three days prior to the hearing.

Are you looking for forms in Maryland or another U.S. jurisdiction? You can find them on the Simply Research Form Center

Last year, beginning on Oct. 16, 2023, the Commission stopped accepting First Reports of Injury in paper form. Instead, those now must be filed electronically in CompHub. Any paper forms received now will be returned.

And now, effective Feb. 5, attorney's and proxies must use CompHub to electronically submit copies of Petitions for Judicial Review, Circuit Court Orders, and additional Appeal documents. Paper submission of these materials is no longer available.
