NCCI announces new Practice Leader and Senior Actuary, Sandra Kipust

The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) announced that Sandra Kipust has joined NCCI as Senior Practice Leader and Actuary. In this leadership role, she will focus on the operational framework of NCCI’s Actuarial and Economic group and its strategic focus on Thought Leadership. Kipust is a proven industry leader with diverse expertise and technical acumen spanning over 20 years.

Recently, Kipust served as senior vice president at Guy Carpenter where she evaluated client data, recommended reinsurance portfolio structures, and developed benchmark rates utilizing various actuarial methodologies and pricing tools. She also served as analytics lead for the Workers Compensation (WC) Center of Excellence and was instrumental in communicating key insights to WC stakeholders. Prior to that, she was senior managing actuary at Liberty Mutual and was responsible for small business commercial lines profitability and growth, and managed the production of commercial lines rate filings and pricing model filings.

Kipust served on the NCCI, New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board, and New Jersey Compensation Rating & Inspection Bureau actuarial committees. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and has her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Kipust is looking forward to carrying on NCCI's legacy in her new role.
