Sarasota, FL (WorkersCompensation.com) – Bob Wilson, president & CEO of WorkersCompensation.com, has announced plans to leave his position at the company. Wilson, the author of the blog From Bob’s Cluttered Desk, is a founding partner of the company and has been at its helm for over 22 years. His duties will be assumed by Robert Bennett. Bennett is an original employee and has been with WorkersCompensation.com since 1999. He has served to this point as Vice-President of Systems Development. Wilson will depart mid-summer, after a successful transition.
Wilson issued the following statement regarding his planned departure:
“I have had the extreme fortune of leading the best team in this industry, where we have created innovative solutions and promoted ideas that have helped improve processes within the workers’ compensation industry. Yet, after 22 years, it is time to seek out new challenges, and the timing feels right. The company is well-founded and Bob [Bennett], who has been my right arm for over two decades, is well respected by our associates and quite capable of moving this company forward.”
Wilson intends to remain in the workers’ compensation space and will continue blogging from his “Cluttered Desk.” He will also maintain his support of Kids’ Chance, where he serves on the national board of directors and is a founding board member and past president of Kids’ Chance of Florida. He says, “I’ve developed many friendships in this industry, and have acquired unparalleled respect for the people of workers’ comp. I eagerly look to my next chapter in this arena.”
