RE: web sites
Here's My Example Trucker: I had a Microdiscectomy/Laminectomy at L5/S1 in 1/05 and it was Found that My S1 Nerve Root on My Right Side was Crushed. Scar Tissue filled where They Removed the Half of the Disc, attached itself to My S1 Nerve and then Encapsulated the Crushed S1 Nerve Root, so it will Never Heal. I had Countless PT and Work Hardening Sessions, 36 Total Shots into the Nerves around the S1, (Scar Tissue Density wouldn't allow the Shots Directly into S1) and also had a Total of 10 Second Opinions. No One will Re-Operate, too much of a Danger of Paralysis, All Common Treatments Failed, and I Ended at MMI and Seeing a Pain Management Specialist. I also due to the Surgery was Diagnosed with Retrolethesis, and My Arthritis had gotten Severe due to the Inability of Correct and Normal Exercise. It was Then that I was Diagnosed with Failed Back Surgery Syndrome, and Chronic Pain. What Cycler has Mentioned above is True, There is no Direct Definition, it's Usually Based on the Dr.'s and Their Diagnosis of the Individual Patient. Maybe that will Help a bit More, I know it's Confusing, and not Easy to Accept as a Condition You Must Learn to Live with!!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |
