Back Surgery

Hello I have a few Questions for those of you who have had fusions on the lower back.

1.How did you manage after you got home?

2. What items did you find most helpful around the house?

I go in on the 22nd for an anterior/posterior 2 lvl fusion and I am scared to death, any advice will be very helpful. Thank you

the only thing that really scared me was the swelling after i got home from surgery everything else is kind of a blur..just take your pain meds as you need them and you should be fine the stuff they give you is pretty strong..so just try to rest as much as possible and the sooner you get up and start walking the better off you are sounded strange to me but its true good luck and make sure you get an emergency # to your drs office just incase you have probs
