What does your Attorney say? Will you have future medical needs with this injury?

You stand to get 0 if you go before a Judge OR you dould do better DEPENDING on your IME reports and so many things.

You were offered a job and you stated you could not do this type of work. WHAT do you think the Judge is going to say when he looks at the evidence?

I personally believe it is time for you to be real with yourself. Remember, pain and suffering will get you a cup of coffee maybe but the reports the Judge will review from all the IME, Doctors etc will count in the end.

I wish there was a "vanilla" answer to this but be smart; you know what you are reading from the Doctors reports. You may not agree with them but what do you feel the judge will do?

Good Luck and God Bless Louisiana.

RE: Give it to me like it is.
If Your Attorney has done His/Her Job, any Medical Evidence from w/c Should have a Second Opinion from a Dr. of Your Choosing Attached to it. The Medical Evidence is the Key as Free Bird Mentioned, and that is going to be the Most Important Evidence the Judge is going to Use as Weight on Your Case. After that They will take into Consideration the Condition You are in, if anything Medically will Help Your Future, look at the Job Availabilities Based on Your Restriction Level, and then Decide which Dr. They feel is the Most Credible, Yours or Theirs. I could go on and On, I have been at This for Over 5 Years and Counting, 15 Hearings with #16 at the End of This Month. But I do Agree with Free Bird, it's All about the Medical Evidence First!! Best of Luck!!Wink

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
