almost done!
well i saw my dr on thursday..he said i will be having the hardware removed within the next month he said the surgery is not bad and will only have an over night stay in the hospital and two weeks recovery time so im thinking this is almost over..and he says im toatally fused...was just wondering if all goes smoothely what kinda time frame am i looking at to settle if its not disputed and drug on..they have payed for everything thus far ttd always on time all surgery shot pt so im hoping theres no prob when it comes time to settle...

thank you sunshine..see thats what im trying to find out..do they usually do your rating around when they put you at mmi and if not how lond do they have to produce your rating and pay your settlement my lawyer says we have about 4-6 months left but i feal like sometimes he just throws numbers out there just to keep me happy ty

yes a rating is usually done when you are considered at maximum medical improvement. often rebuttal ratings are done prior to negotiations.

Settlement; Never ever even think about settlement till after a MiM of 1 full year after this type surgery. Then a rating, or even before that an FCE. Lets not forget you need to be placed at MMI also.

Good Luck Inpainokla! I to await to hear how this goes, because depending on what my cat scan shows on march 26th I to may have this done. Or a ScS put in. May you have instant pain relief!
