Yep, it's here for 3 long days.... The storm is in a counterclockwise swirl, meaning one part will pass, go back aroung the lake, and come back a second time, then that part of it will pass through. It's below freezing, yet the snow is wet.

The snow is beautiful to look at this morning. We have about 8 inches on the ground and still coming down like a rain. The plow just finally came up the hill but left a big mess in front of my drive. If this keeps up we are going to have over a foot from this storm.

Wow..is there no end to the snow you are all getting this year... I guess I am glad that I am not out there.... lots of snow creates a lot of issues in NJ. My grand kids are enjoying it however, no school, lots of playing in the snow with their father who is home with them during the week.... Red

RE: Tuffy-BBBB
Tuffy, I get so confused when they say how much we got. This time I set up a table in the yard. Stuck in a yard stick. Day one, atleast 6 to 8 Inches. Day one night into day two morning, add another foot to that 8 inches. This was without any drifting now mind you. That is 20 inches of snow. As it settled because of weight, it sunk down to about 14 inches. I wonder just how their measuring this great white stuff? They don't list 20 inches anywhere in the State. Something is wrong, and no I have no good drugs neither....Tongue

RE: Tuffy-BBBB
BadBoyBad Boy- I was told they use the melt down amount to figure how much snow we got. Doesn't make much since as when you are shoveling it is what it is. 14 or 20 that still is a lot of snow. sure glad I didn't try to drive in it today. The roads have cleared here but out in the country it has drifted.

Cap it will be June before you all see grass with that much snow.
