RE: 3rd IME still no check
every cervical injury and fusion patient heals differently. impairment is different for each person.
future medical needs are different for each person even if the injury is similar.
there is not one price for each kind of injury or treatment; it varies for each person.
each state has a different system so there is no one calculation for every state.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
In my case they started by cutting my pay in April 2007 and then put me off work in Jan 2008 with no TTD. Didn't get a hearing until Nov 2008 which I won but with appeals and stuff I didn't get a TTD check until the end of Jan 2010. It can be a very long process and it sounds like you know how well they can delay things. Remember they are banking on you giving up and going away so they don't have to pay you any more or they get you to take allot less then it's worth. Best thing I can say is try and hang in there. If you get an IME and the doctor says you need a surgery they are going to want a depo from him and that can takes months to get. Hang in there

RE: 3rd IME still no check
People. I have hung in there and i had my neck surgery, They still have 2 do my back(bone fusion) and i know they will deny me on that 2. My doctor already said that he recommended the surgery but u know how they r. When i got a IME for my neck the report came back and there lawyer called my lawyer and said that he was embarrassed that they made me wait so long due to the injury,so i am hoping that the same thing happens again. Thanks for all ur replies, Is it true that the range of motion is 7% or 10% loss due to the neck fusion. I know i cant move it like i used to.And im here to say all of those people who had to wait due to stupid workerscomp people, i am holding out for as long as i can, treating them the way they treated me, so in the long run it will b me in charge,( its my money and i want it now )!!!!!! Smile
