It has been almost 22 months since my accident at bathfitters, The Hartford stoped paying me on Dec 22nd of 08, That is 2 Christmass'es without pay for presents for my kids. IT is so sad the way they treat people who need treatment and continue to ignore. I worked their for 8 months and slipped and feel down some brick stairs, messed up my back and neck. It took them 19 months to approve a disco gram and a MRI on my neck. As it stands they sent me too a rehab and released me too medium duty. I could do things but with pain like i couldn't stand still i couldn't bend over, standing on concrete really hurt my back made it burn. Anyway they ignore me and droped my claim so i appealed it. I borrowed money from a friend and got neo-specialist to check me out, he found out i have 3 herniated disk in my neck and a protruding disk in my my back and order a bone fusion in my back and neck. I schudle surgery and guess what they denied it the day before i was too go in. Now there sending me too IME again, I am waiting to here back today or tomorrow on what they think. I have lost everything, my credit is destroyed, behind $15,000 in credit cards, $20,000 in child support they took my license from me due too rears.I owe my girlfriend about $15,000 for rent gas car payment, I have no car insurance so i cant drive. My stress level is at a all time high, Ive lost weight, i cant even get a hair cut, I have been using my gas stove for heat. When will they give in. People loose everything and we have no rights. We as a country give everything to everybody and don't even try too fix what is going on here.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
The IME isn't something to consider in thinking that report will get you a check in the mail. An IME is only another persons medical opinion is all. An IME isn't your treating doctor, nor will they treat you as such.
As 1171 said, it is going to take a Hearing to resolve this case for you, but appeals are always sitting on the side lines, as they work both ways. RE: 3rd IME still no check
Thanks for your interest,But everything is based on what there Doctor says whether or not i do need surgery, So if there doctor says i do need surgery then they cannot deny me that i am hurt and and they must address the problem with surgery because i have had everything else done. There is nothing they can do but treat me or say no and wait till the court date and the court judge will throw it out and say why are you wasting my time. Its funny they wont give me surgey but yet they acknowledge that there is something wrong and they still will not pay me my TTD. By the way its not funny its stupid. Thanks again.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
To be honest, if this IME said you need surgery, they can send you to another one, that might say you don't need surgery. It's their choice. And it doesn't mean just because an IME doctor say this or that, that you will just get what the IME has said. It doesn't work that way. So, what does your doctor have to say, and what is your attorney doing, or going to do? For that is the question....

RE: 3rd IME still no check
The only reason they would send me to another IME would be to try to get a decision for their side to say, yea he dosent need surgery. Its a joke, anything to get out of responsibility. I know what they are trying to do. It will work for them, they will keep sending me until they get that descion. My lawyer said that they have enough evidence to get me approved for surgery when i go to court on March 10th, but i cant wait that long, i have run out of money 1year ago, I know its a waiting game with them. My lawyer told me when i had a circuit court date in Jan for TTD that i could discuss my issue with surgery and back pay but when i got their the Hartford lawyer already had me schedule for a IME. I cant believe that they waited till the day of court to give me a appointment for IME. I never got to talk about what i was told. It just goes to show u who is in charge. I have a good lawyer, Its my 3rd one for this case. It just frustrates me to no end how they can mulipuate the courts. So again I must wait, Yea I like being poor, cold and used. I know to tell people never get involved with the state on anything because you will loose or loose your mind. Thanks for your replies.

Why hasn't your attorney applied for a emergency hearing?

I have a dumb question? Did you go after the home owners insurance for falling on the brick stairs?
