RE: 3rd IME still no check
No i didn't because my lawyer asked if the railing was secure at the stairs and i said it was so i would feel really bad if i got them involved. I thought about that but i couldn't do that.

Well you should do whatever you have to do in order to get weekly payments from lose of income, and proper medical care. If you aren't getting it one way, you go the other way. You go what ever way that will get you there with out delays.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
I cant do that to someone who has nothing to do with it, It would be different if the stair railing was not secure but it was and i wont drag someone in this who is not responsible. Besides its the Hartford who has got me to this point of loosing it all.But i know what your saying but i couldnt do that to an old couple. Thanks for a differant view. U have been a big help in listening.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
Well, you not doing anything to the old couple. You will invite their insurance into the mix. You will get a Lien from their insurance stating they can recover their money spent, when the Work Comp gets off their butt is all. So, still the WC insurance is going to pay, just at a later date is all. And this way, you get a income, and medical treatment. It's a very well know fact one should know Bricks for stairs are slippery, and are not a good safe stair way system. Long ago, this house I am in had bricks that lined the walk way. When it rained or snowed I would slip. Not safe. Those came out, and cement went down.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
Dude you are 2 cool, I really appreciate your time but when i had the accident the first lawyer had asked me if the railing was secure and i said it was and he said then that it was http://www.workerscompensation.com/forum...sad.gifall they could go after. And its been since 08 when it happened. I'm on my 3rd lawyer and he never mention going after the home owner, So might need to cal him but i think its been 2 long. Thanks for helping. Hey by the way i have been calling about my IME where i took it and i had it on the 14th and they keep telling me its not ready because it involves 2 body parts anyway the first couple of times i called they took my info down about my lawyer you know fax, address, name and stuff and then i called 2 days ago and now there telling me that they cant send it to my lawyer it has to come from the person who requested it. I understand that but it just goes to show you that you get a different story depending on who you talk to. So i called my lawyer now he has to send a letter to request it and that by law can take up to 21 days, every time i turn around i am mislead and the messed up thing is i have to wait longer.(Shocking). so thanks again.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
Many IME reports go to the Insurance and the attorney has to request the copy. It has happened at times when injured workers do get the re[ports, but realy not to often.

RE: 3rd IME still no check
Here is a hint, each time you go to an IME, have your attorney draw a letter up so it states a copy will get sent to him/her.
But really you shouldn't be calling them anyways, that is why you have an attorney, so you shouldn't have to make contact, and all contacts go through the attorney. I've done this. I remember one IME I went to, it asked for all my attorney's information on a form. It was sent right to him then. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. RE: 3rd IME still no check
Dudes, I just got my surgery for my neck, 3 level fusion with disk replacement. Feel pretty good. base of neck is sore, Still cant sleep on my left side because of a pinched nerve in neck. Thought that would go away ,the nurse said it could take up to a year to get improvement, But Im thinking nerve damage because workers comp waited so long to fix this.As i stated early in the write up that started back in 08, when this fall first happened. Now my back has to be fused also, But i what i was wondering was i cant turn my head all the way left or right, i have read that range of motion is less 7% to 10% is this true, also its hard to drink anything without a straw,i cant tip my head all the way back, Anyway Im just glad i got the surgery and i know its not going to get worse. Finally workers comp stepped up after 2 and a half years later. People help me out who has a 3 level fusion on your neck and what kinda of $ money we talking about for a rating. Thanks
