help with pain?
for anyone who have severe neck arm pain from a past fusion and now i have c6 7 problems,is there any medication that has helped you? i have tried everything from lyrcia to lortab flexeral norco. is there anything i should ask my dr about friday when i go see him? i have been taking lortab for 2 years now 7.5 500 and i think im pretty much so used to then they dont do anything. does anyone have any thoughts? also im gonna ask about another mri because the pain is gettin worse i have also had headaches for a month straight something isnt right and asprin isnt cutting it. i thing there is some nerve damage again somewhere. if im having bone spurs on the area of the past surgery will an mri help? i dont know what to ask my dr hes only my treating dr and doesnt know much about

RE: help with pain?
If your Doctor doesn't know much, then how is your Doctor going to help you, and your going to go see this Doctor, WHY? Doesn't make any sense then...
You may need to reopen your Work Comp Claim, if you need medical treatment then and to see a Doctor that knows something then. No medication really takes pain away. None that I seen yet. RE: help with pain?
Blake I wish you good luck with it...... When I was on oxycodone, all it did was take the edge off to be tollerable... Like BBBB said I dont think they make that wonder drug that takes pain completely away... But I will say people have different reactions to pain meds and hope this works for you, but I will also say if you need to come off of the oxycodone, wein your self slowly.. I did it cold turkey and thought the world comming to a end.......

RE: help with pain?
It isn't often likely that the arm pain would come from C6-C7 though. But this nerve is a connection Nerve, that does connect with other nerves. Meaning another nerve can cause the C6-C7 muscles to act up, or inflame.

RE: help with pain?
If spurring is in the fusion area, how you going to find anything out, as this is common?
