Need advice asap
I am in California. Had 2 herniated disc last year. Doctor release to work with permanent physical restriction not lifting pulling or pushing over 30 lbs. I had lay-off because there is no job fit my restriction. Finally I get another job after one year out of work. They hired me with permanent restriction. The problem is that in the last 2 wks my pain flare up so bad that I have to take more pain med that before, and Profigil to keep me awake. But I still be very druggy and drowsy. I am still waiting for the report of QME doctor (not come out yet, don't know why they did it so slow!) I don't know if I should report my pain to the new employer or not. I am so afraid to lose this new job. I am still in the training. Will they lay off me? I don't think I can hang on with this horrible pain for longer time. What doctor can I see at this time? Can I go to my family doctor and have some time off so that the nerve infamation relieve?

RE: Need advice asap
It may just be from the original injury and not anything new. go back to your former doctor. find out if it's new injury or not. You may be able to make it part of the first injury.
unfortunately you have to let your new employer know. If the new job is causing injury they need to know.
