End of ppd
Hello all,

I received a letter today regarding the end of permanent disability benefits. Letter reads, pdb are ending because we've paid estimated amount of pd based on the AME's current reporting. Once the final report is received, pd will be rereviewed.

Payment of Medical Expenses
We will authorize and pay for care reasonably required as a result of your injury in accordance with the California Labor Code. If you receive any medical bills, please send them to use. We will reimburse you for necessary transportation expenses, including bridge toll and other public transit charges to and from authorized medical treatments.

My question is this a settlement negotiation? The last time I talked to my attorney he said he was waiting for the AME's updated report and then would be tying up the case soon. Attorney did not ask me which way I wanted to go as far as settlement. I plan on doing a C&R. Any advice would be appreciated.

RE: End of ppd
depends on what you mean by settlement.
since you have an atty any negotiated aggrement to finalize benefits will be communicated to your atty.
this is required communication about your benefits.
c&R is not automatic; both parties have to agree.
