While on workman's comp can you move to another state?

I found out yesteday my family and i will have move out my apt(comp won't pay and i'm to far behind, lawyer supposed to file a expetited(sp)hearing a month ago) live in Ca. and due to lower rent and job opp for my husband may have to move by his family in Az.That being said can any one tell me what might happen to my case.I won't fold but this hurts me i like my land lord and he has been so patient,but can't do no more.I understand,don't like it, but in the end its business(sp).Back on topic,can anyone help with this.Nothing in stone,but moving is probably our only hope.I have 4 babies that i will never let be homeless,i feel so helpless.Sorry,thanks for letting me vent.Any advice is appreciated.I accept prayers.:shy:Thanks.

arrange treatment beforehand. line up a doctor who will take california work comp. notify the carrier that you need an out-of-state physician and who you want authorized to treat.
you may have to return to california for special medical exams - and legal hearings if necessary.

I'm with 1171, as long as You make Arrangements before the Move, and the Move is Necessary for Your Family's Well Being, You should be O.K. Do You have an Attorney?? You May want to Double Check with Them also. If not, and if You have a Decent Adjuster, hopefully it will go Smoothly! My Very Best to You!!

Thank you both,I do have a attorney,who i called after i posted.Paralegal is gonna talk with attorney to see what he can do ,which if he haven't got a date for hearing yet, i doubt what he can do now i'm getting put out.So let me ask, my edd will be cut off if i leave CA right?

I don't think state disability payments prohibit out of state travel as long as disability status is maintained.
unemployment benefits are another matter.
