RE: changing jobs
Just because you have a WC claim with one company. It does not mean that they can not fire you and that you can not quit. Your medical treatment will continue. Just keep in mind that you do not want to do anything that violates the restrictions the your dr. has set for you.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

RE: changing jobs
Will another company disregard my application because of the WC claim that is it? I am nervous to apply at another place but I need to get out of current job situation. I think what is holding me back is that the medical treatment will not continue and that I will lose this claim. I got hurt two months ago and no one can figure out what is causing all the pain, I hurt my shoulder at work. Today was my first trip to the specialist and they gave me a shot of cortisone, so we will see what happens.

I recently quit my job and I have a w/c injury as well. I also found a new job but, I have not offered any information to having a w/c injury and open case yet. Not sure how and when. I am waiting to see if somebody can answer my questions as well. I have pain in my right shoulder constantly and have never been offered a cortisone shot. My question for you is, has it worked for the pain? I asked my Dr. about getting one and he denied it and said they don't do those anymore. Just want to know if it works at least to take the edge off.
But, I say apply for the position, it couldn't hurt. Just as long as it is not going to add more pain or go against your Dr.'s restrictions. Good luck
