Hurting in Cali.
Ok...so I found out the IC did not send my papers off for a rating. I guess they planned on offering a settlement based on future medical. Since then I have been back to the doc and found out I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and it is not nice! It feels like my arm weighs a ton, it feels too short for my body. I have been referred to a Vascular Surgeon? I am not eligible for any disability, not unless this new diagnosis changes this. Can I ask the IC to advance some type of payments from future medical? Can I get anything? I am in pain 24/7 and this has been going on for 18 months. I'm so tired.

I have also had a Gangelion Cyst removed from wrist on the same painful arm....

future medical is paid directly to the medical provider after they bill for the service. rarely would a medical provider be given payment prior to service.
same with reimbursements to the worker. you'd have to submit receipts before payment of authorized care and there would have to be an explanation as to why the provider did not bill directly. |
