RE: elbow injuries
Well I don't have an elbow injury but a wrist injury and have been on w/c for 2 years now. My experiences have not been good.
When did you get hurt? And are you having any difficulties with the IC? |

RE: elbow injuries
Almost everyone here suffered an injury, wether elbow or whatever.
Welcome to the board. Do you have a question or more, if so, please ask. Each injury may be different, but the W/C (work comp) question and such might be answered if we know what you wish to seek out. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. They are based on personal opinions, experience, or research and are "not to be taken as fact or legal advice", otherwise, always consult an attorney or a doctor. |

I wasn't told this prior and was led to believe that once on workman's comp that family leave didn't play into this time off work....What gives? I was given "light duty" but was unable to complete entire 8 hr. shift. I told the doctor this and she didn't even adress the issue when asked. I never saw the "doctor" I only saw the A.P.N. till now. The doctor was trying to say that maybe I have other health issues not caused by this injury. Seems rather shady to me. Now my health insurance is going to run out and I'm the one...again getting the short end...Seems thats all I have gotten out of all this. OH Yes....I do get headaches now and on going stress... and all this cause I hurt my elbow working in a casino over two years, never having a sick day, and have covered for others when called upon. Isn't this system great??? |

RE: elbow injuries
Good Luck,
I also had elbow injury, I'm in Nevada, work for a casino for over 2 years. I am now about to lose my health insurance cause all the time I was out cause my wc claim was denied. I appealed and won I received my back wages less my attorney fee. the casino used up my family leave till now. I now had a knee injury unrelated to work. I received my papers for family leave and this is how I found out about my health insurance running out. Again....I have to now seek another legal force. Isn't this fun??? |
