RE: Treating dr. and/or PM dr.
I have NEVER had my blood taken in the 2 1/2 yrs. I have been taking narcotics. I know that is wrong and I do not understand why non of my doctors have ever thought of even taken it. I know though about a year ago I felt sick and did have my blood taken when I asked my primary care doctor to runs some tests and I worked as a phlebotomist and knew the test for kidneys, liver enzymes etc. and made sure all those were involved along with cholesterol and HDL, LDL etc etc. CBC, Electrolytes. Everything came back fine.

As far as PM doctors and having primary doctors. I was going to PM for over 1 1/2 yrs. with them prescribing my medications every month and doing different procedures. Injections etc. When they got to a end point of not knowing what else to do besides a spinal cord stimulator they told me they would no longer be able to take me there and that I would need to find a primary care doctor that would be willing to prescribe me my narcotics monthly. I had a primary doctor but was afraid that he would not prescribe narcotics as I know he was against them. Well when I went to confront him as I felt the pain clinic was throwing me out, he said he would be more than happy to prescribe my monthly medications as I in no way absused my narcotics when he was giving some to me for restless leg syndrome for 5 yrs. So eventually PM will have you find a doctor that is going to be JUST prescribing you your meds when they can no longer do anything more for you as they are NOT there just to prescribe medication as they will tell you in the beginning.

I have my blood tested every 3 or 4 months, by my non-industrial kidney doctor. I have full kidney function, and want to keep it that way. WC has only tested my blood once and that was to rule out RA, which it did. Tongue

Let Go, and Let God......
