I too am in Montana and have back problems. I have done alot of research. my lawyer said it would be very hard to get w/c to let me go out of state. I have found two very good Dr's in state. you can e-mail me i think the address is in my profile, and I can give you the info I have found.

Thank you for that input. There are certainly enough options to follow through on.

I do know of Dr. Oaklander. And I have read all of her research. She does not actually do the surgery though and she is an integral part of the Tarlovs Foundation, though which I already work with. They are the people who set up the consultation with Dr. Feigenbaum in Kansas City.

I actually just got a call from my surgeons office asking me to come in tomorrow. Apparently this has been set up by workers comp....I knew nothing of this so it is a complete surprise. Apparently to discuss options. I will talk to my attorney before I go.
