What to expect in the court of appeals

I should be expecting my verdict after disability rating with in the next 3 or 4 days , my Lawyer did not even know nor read what was in the report till I point out couple of them with our 10 minutes open meeting in the waiting area of wc. She was in so much in a hurry to go to a different court room where there was another case apparently she cares more about she felt short to ask a lot of important question that would certainly help me and watched and stayed quiet while i was bombarded with questions, I am not a public speaker , I was not able to finish my sentence by being interrupted non stop by the ic lawyer to a point that the commisioner asked me one of the questions to kind of help me finish my sentence for this reason I dont expect a reasonable outcome and wanted to get my self ready. will my lawyer say no for an appeal? If so what are my rights? Maryland

predicting what other people will do is difficult.
usually filing an appeal is only a matter of 20 or 30 days and not enough time to find another atty.
if you are going to switch you should do it now.
your other choice would be to handle the appeal yourself.

I'm in Pa., and the Appeals Process is kind of Odd, but You May want to Check Yours, and See how Your State Does it. Here Both Sides have I Believe 45-60 Days to Prepare Their Appeal Paperwork, and then it is Sent to the Appeals Board, Consisting of 12 Judges. There are Oral Arguments Scheduled Usually 4 Months apart for My Area, and the Injured Worker is not Allowed in the Courtroom, I actually Stayed Home, there was no Reason for Me to be There. After that, it's Assigned to One Judge, who Thoroughly Goes over the Appeal, and Renders a Decision, then it's Sent around to the Other 11 Judges for Them to Either Sign Off on and Agree, or Pose a Different View, and the Majority of the Replies Wins, and a Decision is Made. it Takes Time, at least Here in Pa., but Hopefully Your Judge is Sympathetic to Your Case to a Point, if They Interjected to Allow You to Answer Your Question, They May See that Your attorney was Distracted. The Next Case must have been Either Much More Complicated, or there was More Money Involved! It's a Shame they Treated You that Way, but Let's Hope You don't have to Appeal!
