HI TO EVERYONE .HOPE ALL IS WELL,CONSIDERING WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE WC SYSTEM.I LIVE IN LOUISIANA AND HAVE ? REGARDING THE MMI RATING .I WAS GIVEN 11% RATING .IT DOESNT HAVE ALL INJURIES LISTED .THEY DO HAVE SPONDYLOSIS ON THE PAPERWORK SAYING IT IS A DEGENERATIVE DISEASE.I HAVENT BEEN TO DR ABOUT BACK OR NECK PAIN TIL ALL OF THIS STARTED.I WAS WAITING TO SEE A DR FOR RIGHT HAND HURTING,THINKING CARPAL TUNNEL WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE EXACT.THEY HAVE MY HERNIATED DISC ON THE LIST BUT NOT MY C34 BULG WITH COMPRESSION,L34,L45.L5S1 BULGES .DO THEY COUNT ON THE MMI,ESPECIALLY IF SURGERY WONT DO ANY GOOD ,THEIR OPINION NOT MINE .HAVE PREVIOUS MRI FROM 2004 OF C,T,AND L SPINE,THOUGHT I WAS BEING SMART,GOT CHARGED FOR ALL.DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE SEPERATE AREAS,NOW GLAD I DID.ANY OPINIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.THANKS

Hi Rhonda! My Opinion Only, You need a Second Opinion from a Dr, of Your Choice, and I would Strongly Suggest it be a Neuro. Dr. If You have an Attorney, You may want to Discuss this with Them, They May be able to get the Ins. Co. to Pay for the Second Opinion. Then You May have to File a Petition to Review Medical Evidence, and after a Hearing, the w/c Judge will make a Decision on which Dr. is More Credible! I know it Sounds Hard, and Scary, but if You do Nothing, they May Accept the Ins Co.'s Dr.'s Opinion, and that won't be Good for You!! I Wish You My Very Best!!
