RE: question
Hi Mike D

I believe yes if for downsizing or just cutbacks... But if he fires you you may be entitled for some cash and he may get a hefty fine.... Im not a pro so I will leave the final answer to them........

RE: question
I am also from PA> As long as you are not terminated for filing a WC claimand it is for cutbacks/downsizing as so many employers are doing then your employer has done nothing wrong. Being terminated has nothing to do with you being injured and having a WC claim. I tdoes not come to a hault if you are terminated.

RE: question
Nothing in the state's workers compensation law requires an employer to create a job for an injured worker where none exists.

RE: question
I'm from Pa. also, and the Others are Correct. If Your Injury should Heal, and You are able to Leave w/c and Your Case is Closed, You would then be Eligible for Unemployment.Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
