I know that all Dr's notes go to w/c. My claims manager will take one word or one phrase out of the notes and turn it all around and then e-mail my lawyer and their lawyer, then I get a e-mail asking me to explain. I always tell the truth yet they seem to make it out that I am stupid. Is this common practice? I think that they are building a file to dispute items later, could this be? With being depressed in pain and on meds, dealing with this nightmare of w/c, is my brain making a big deal out of nothing, even though it has happened more than once.

most states have retaliation prohibitions in their comp rules you should discuss filing a discrimination complaint with your atty.
since you are represented you should only be dealing with your atty on the comp matters. let your atty respond for you on any questions, complaints, etc you employer may have.
keep all communication in writing. tell them to put their questions in writing to your atty.

I've also had this happen to me, I said something at the doctor's office, next thing I knew the insurance company's attorney was communicating to the judge a statement so twisted.

Can I ask for a copy of the Dr's notes? I do only talk to my laywer he is the one that sends the e-mails from w/c, I try very hard to watch what I say, but who is my medical advacate, I have questions, I want to know what my options are, not just what w/c wants me to know or do.
