Don't really know what your looking for, but a Structured settlement is paid in Bi-weekly or Monthly checks to you. It's not a Lump Settlemt. Mostly if you go to a trail the hearing Officer will agree to this.

Go to this Link, as it mostly will answer your questions, then please lets us know:

No Blake the IC doesn't have to do anything.

In Some States, such as Mine which is Pa., Neither Side has to Settle. They can Continue to Pay You Your Normal w/c Payments, or Settle, and Their is always the Possibility of You being able to Work a Job that's Less Demanding than You had, and I Believe they May Pay a Wage Difference Stipend to You. I would Strongly Suggest You Speak with an Attorney or Two, and Possibly Retain One that Deals with w/c on a Regular Basis. You could also Contact the Ins. Co. Yourself and Ask for a Settlement Mediation, but I would Never go into One without an Attorney, it's Very Complicated, and You need to know All the Facts, and that's what w/c Attorney's do Daily! I Hope this Helps, and My Very Best to You!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
