Back Injury Settlement
SettleSettlement hearing is in a week .My lawyer Doctor rated me at 40% The IC doctor rated me at 15% back to work after a year and couple months earn the same money I was earning for now the same company different location and different job for now with no future promise but lied on paper that I got back to the same position , What should I expect, I have a meeting with my lawyer to go over things tomorrow what kind of questions should I bring up with my Lawyer. State is Maryland any help, ideas ....etc is greatly appreciated In God I Trust |

Because of the difference in ratings there could be a hearing that would be set to determine which doctors rating is more credible. This happened to me with a 32% from my doctor and a 10% from the IC doctor. I did not have a lawyer and they found the IC doctor more credible. I was paid only the 10%.
Seeing you have a lawyer he should know how to handle this hearing and how to show your doctors ratings more credible. I was not able to do that. If I could do it all again, I would of hired a lawyer to be able to show how my doctor WAS more credible and his exam was more involved than the 10 min. exam the IC doctor did.
