We were Speaking of Gun Regulations a while Back!

We were Speaking of Gun Regulations a while Back!
I Just wanted to Bring this Up while it's Fresh in My Mind, We were talking about the Federal Gov't. wanting Taxes on Our Privately Owned Weapons. I don't have any More News on that, but I did Mention that they had Expanded Concealed Carry Permits to allow Concealed Weapons from One State to another Legally. I took My Father to Renew His Permit Yesterday, and Asked the Sheriff's Office about this, to make Sure this wasn't just a Rumor, and He gave Me a List. Now My Permit is Issued in Pennsylvania, and in Past Years it was Only allowed and Legal in Pa., now it's Allowed in the Following States:

Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
Michigan
Missouri
New Hampshire
North Carolina
Oklahoma
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
West Virginia
Wyoming

These States also Allow Pa.'s Permit without a Formal Written Reciprocity
Agreement: (The above States allow Our Permit, and We also have to Allow Theirs. These States allow Ours even if We wouldn't allow Theirs, but We do.):

Colorado
Idaho
Indiana
Louisiana
Montana
North Dakota
Utah

I can also Apply to The Following States for an Additional Permit, to Carry with My Pa. Permit, but they don't Honor Ours:

Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Washington

So if any of You Hold a Concealed Carry Permit for a Firearm, You May want to Contact Your Sheriff's Office, I was Amazed to See the Changes for the Better, and also We will be Allowed to Carry in National Parks in I Believe June 2010! With the World as it is Today, with so Much Stress, and Especially with Us being Injured, it's Best to be as Prepared as You can Against Possible Crime, it's just Natural for the Stronger Criminal Minded to go after the Weaker, or Injured in a Situation such as a Purse Snatching, a Car Jacking, or even just a Good Ol' Fashioned Stick Up!!

Thanks for posting this. I thought Ohio was also one of the states that you could carry in if you had a PA permit. The brother in law is coming in this weekend so I will ask him. It's a pain in the butt when you cross state lines and you have to empty the gun and can't keep it concealed. I'm still shocked that in Maryland you can protect money if you are taking it to the bank, say when you are carrying large amounts of cash from a business, but you can't carry a gun to protect your children. Which is more important CHILDREN OR MONEY?

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!

no go between Ohio and PA.

There is a workaround that has to do with getting a Utah CCP

Limbo,
This weekend in Louisiana we are having a tax free weekend for purchases on any type of equipment regarding to hunting. People who were shopping during the week were interviewed by local TV stations and they said they will be waiting to make their purchases this weekend. This tax free event will run on Saturday and Sunday. Take care and love y'all.

RE: We were Speaking of Gun Regulations a while Back!
Pymatuming Lake, which is a Very Large Lake in Upper Pa. that Flows into Ohio. I went there on a Fishing Trip with My Friend, and I Carried My Weapon, and I took the Time to Call the Ohio State Police and Ask the Question of what would happen if Our Boat was in Ohio Waters, or if We got Off in Ohio to Eat, and I had My Weapon. Now this was about 7 Years ago, and His Response was to Me that they don't have a Per Say Carry Permit, they look at Each Individual Shooting as an Investigation of Facts. If I were being Robbed, I had a Clean Sheet and I was Sober and My Life was in Danger, Probably Nothing would Happen Other than Confiscation of the Weapon until I Left the State. If a Death Occurred, the Weapon would be Kept as Evidence. If I were Acting in an Illegal Manner, or Drunk and Disorderly, they would Throw the Book at Me. So He never Said Yes, and He Never Said No, but gave Me the Impression that if Carried You Better Mind Your P's and Q's while in Their State!Wink

Monster, what is a CCW? I'm not Familiar with that Abbreviation!
