Junior Member Posts: 2 Group: Registered Joined: Sep 2009 Status: Online Post: #1temporary total disability How does this work, i have been awarded ttd, for the time im off work, i had surgery on my neck, and i know they had time to appeal, which they did not, how long does it usually take to get paid, i could starve to death waiting on the BWC to help me.. ugg Lumbar Laminectomy L5 - S1, Lumbar Disectomy L 4 -5, Cervical Microdisectomy C-4 -5, Cervical Anterior Fusion C 4 -5, Cervical Anterior Fusion C 5 - 6, Lumbar Disectomy, Laminectomy and Foraminotmy L 3 - 4, Cryo Surgery Lumbar. --Ongoing Problems.. Permanently Totally Disabled. |

it depends on what they know and when they knew it.
make sure your doctor notifies the carrier of your time off work. the laws are different for each state. specific information can't be provided without knowing your state. Ohio has a 7 day waiting period. it will be paid after 2 weeks of total disability. |

As 1171 said two weeks and if you are not paid buy then give or take a couple of days just call and ask whats up and when you will get paid.
Each day is not a rite,it's a given. |
