Claiming Workmans Comp after injury
I am trying to find out if I can still claim workmans comp. A little over a year I passed out at work and was rushed to the hospital where I was told I had pneumonia which was why I collapsed and was why my right shoulder was hurting. I continued feeling bad and having trouble breathing. So after xray's, cat scans, pet scans, Surgery to remove what they thought might be cancer I finally have been diagnosed with nerve damage from lifting something heavy at work. The damage has left me with a right arm that I can barely lift over my head and hurts on a daily basis and a Diapragh that doesn't work which has allowed my lung to deflate leaving me only one good lung. I have accuried hugh doctor bills because my company does not provide insurance. So can I claim workmans Comp to help to finish paying my medical bills? If anyone can help me please let me know.

RE: Claiming Workmans Comp after injury
does your Doc say it was caused by your job?Your state will help as rules vary from state to state

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile
