have a ?
hello to everyone,
i come to this sight alot and read your post.decided i should post if i want to find help. i was hurt 11-'06,drew wc for 1 mo,5-'07,been on ld since acc.they have now changed job as ld,so went back to my job. i worked for as long as i could ,eating pain meds and muscle relaxers , then severe depression with suicidal thoughts caught up with me.im so tired of dealing with pain,dr said surgery wouldnt do any good id have to learn to live with pain,i tried and i cant.i was hardly getting enough hours a week to pay bills.ive been off work since 3-'09,been in 2 psych hosp 2x since then.im not receiving any money because wc said they have to determine if depression is associated with injury. i was informed that they may not pay because its been longer than a year .i dont understand how that can be if i worked ld like i was informed i had to do.is this true ? im from louisiana.any help would be appreciated, thanks |

RE: have a ?
I dont know La. rules, MJC would tho as she lives there....My depression was added but it took a lawyer to get it...Have you a lawyer? Wanted to welcome you to our site....check out the off topics as a new Bingo game is about to start and its a fun way to pass the time it takes about 2 weeks to play all the way thru so check it out...and welcome
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....
