You need to visit Kansas, it's not yellow brick roads, or munckins, although we do have our share of tornados.

Kansas is a state with many large cities. I live near Wichita, the airplane capital of the world.

Lots of beautiful country in our state.

You may take the written claim to the employer and obtain a receipt for it or you can mail it to the employer by certified mail, return receipt requested. You cannot obtain a hearing before an administrative law judge unless you meet the following deadlines: filing an application for hearing within three (3) years of the date of accident or within two (2) years of the last payment of compensation, whichever is later."

Thank You Very Much....I tried many different avenues and
just got the runaround, now I know where to turn.
Thx again, MW

Yes, spent a few years there and I especially like the drive on the
turnpike thru the Flint Hills, I had some friends and family members, that worked at some of the different Aircraft Facilities,
they have mad a monumental addition to the industry private, commercial and military.
Thx Again 1171, you have no idea what a difference you have made
with sharing your expertise.

1171, I searched the site you provided and located forms to
order my previous w/c information and will also file my claim
and since I already tried the Ks Bar Assoc. with less than positive
results, with your help I can get where I need to go with much
better results, I will keep you posted, If your interested.

Thanks Again, MW

I was injured in 2005, had surgery, reached MMI and my medical was closed.

I continued to have medical problems from my injury and hired an attorney to reopen my claim.

My attorney sent me for a medical evaluation and scheduled a court hearing to reopen my claim.

Yes, you can reopen your claim, althiugh I would advise you hire an attorney.

Bummer Knees, I read both your messages and appreciate your
input and empathy, between you and 1171, I recieved enough
information, to send me down the right path for much needed
medical attention and reviving my claim.

Thanks Bummer Knees,
MW

Go to the top of the page to comp yellow pages and I believe you will find information on attorneys for Kansas. Might also try the yellow banner at the top of the page.

Good luck!
