RE: Designated Doctor - MMI - Impairment Rating
Deb Wrote:Thanks Everyone this is exactly the type of information I was looking for. People that have lived through it already and what they may have experienced.

Red I do not depend on Workman's Comp money whatsoever. My husband makes a decent income and I have 3 sons that live at home and help their mother out. The company that I worked for has been in financial trouble for the last 3 or 4 years. When they told us of the problems I started paying off everything I owed so I was almost debt free when I was injured. I had a couple of bills left and when my company let me go they gave me a severence package that paid off everything else. I assume I should receive backpay on everything the insurance company has held up or at least that is what I have been told. We'll see. The stressing out comes from people playing with my life. I am the one in pain while they play their stupid games. I am a control freak that likes to have total control of myself and I hate people screwing around like this. Shoot I think if they would have let the neurosurgeon take care of me from the beginning I would be ok and back at work. Instead it has cost them a lot more money and it has cost me my job and a hell of a lot more days in pain. I'm ranting now - just totally ticked off at the entire situation. So far what they have succeeded in doing is ruining my entire week end which is probably what they started out to do. Sometimes I just want to throw in the towel. Tell Workman's Comp where to stick it and me go on with my life. However, they are not getting by that easily. They are going to take care of my back and get me back to where I was before or at least as close as possible. Money doesn't mean anything to me so let them play their games. Dumba$$e$.

Sorry to vent everyone but I gotta tell ya I feel so much better now. I think I am ready for round 2 so they can just sound the bells and put up their dukes.

Deb

Deb...you vent anytime. And have your attorney do the battling for you we don't need you any more injuried....lol Have you been able to talk with the attorney. What does she have to say?

You know it is the games they play with some of your lives that is so wrong. I still just can't understand how they can legally get away with it. But they do. I almost think they try to beat you so low mentally that you do just give up.....but from reading your post Iwe don't have to worry about our Deb....she is taking her battle on head on. You go girl....you know we are all behind you and when you start to stumble we will help you up. Isn't wonderful to have a supportive family...sure sounds like you have a awesome family.
