Question Anyone used Pre-settlement funding offers?
We are at the lowest point ever.....has anyone ever used financial funding thru services like Oasis, Global or American? Any input would be great...we do not know which way to turn. We are losing everything and owe everyone. Thanks !!!Shy

Downandout, I am truly sorry to hear of your situation. I personally have not used these services at all, but from what I hear they charge pretty hefty charges to front the money. Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe someone else here knows more about these services than I do.

Best Wishes,
Deb

RE: Anyone used Pre-settlement funding offers?

Sad
downandout....sorry to here of your financial problems. They're are so very stressful amongst everything else we have. My husband used one of the services that his attorney set up. When he won his Wc case they were all paid back out of his backpay. his attorney's fees also came out and he still had a nice chunk of change. We had no choice. The way his were drawn up theysaid IF paid back byt ????date it would be this much, so on and so forth. The 1st one was 3 years old when paid back and although he owed interest on it, it had not doubled or anything like that. There may have been for example $2000 on $10,000 borrowed. The paperwork is all written up with the rules of what it will cost you before you sign anything. It's not right for everyone but it was for us.
Also we cut back on everything. Phone services, TV services, etc.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.
