Injured at Kroger-My 1st time dealing.
Ok, I've filled out the papers, they sent me to a doctor on their list. I went. So far I've missed 5 working days. I can t afford a big loss,I have bills and child support.. I used 2 of my own personal vac days to cover some but the doc said Mon that I'm out at least another week till I see him on Fri. Its a pinched nerve causing horrible shoulder pain lfet side. It feels better after the prescriptions but not 100%, still tough for lifting which I have to do as its a physical job.
Now I've never had to do this in 23 years in the grocery business so I'm not familiar. Nor was some of the office personal there at Kroger stating they haven't done it before. Dp I need to go somewhere and fill out any paperwork they didn't provide to try to get at list some reimbursement?. JR |

RE: Injured at Kroger-My 1st time dealing.
One thing I can say is have copies of the paper work you filled out so if they lose it you can get them a copy of it. Not saying they will screw with you but it can happen. I didn't check to see if you had listed your state in your profile but if not posting that will help other provide you with answers

RE: Injured at Kroger-My 1st time dealing.
there is a 7 day waiting period.
it'll be paid if/when you are off more then 14 days. first payment is due to you within 15 days of the carrier getting notice so make sure the employer has notified the carrier. the employer has to post a notice as who the carrier is and how they can be contacted as well as file the injury report. |
