I have Virgin Mobil the monthly minute plan. I get 1000 minutes for $50.00 per month, no contract, can forward unused minutes to the following month. I bought a $10.00 phone from Target, it has everything what I need including call waiting(no camera), so far lasted more than a year without any trouble.
Was able to keep my old cell number and able to switch between plans if I need less minutes.
