i was wondering if anybody could tell me what my mri results mean
here they are TECHNIQUE: Routine MRI of the lumbar spine is performed in the sagittal plane from T12 to the sacrum.the patient is large and the lower thoratic spine is not very visible. FINDINGS: The sagittal images show normal alignment of the vertebral bodies with loss of signal in the L5-S1 disc substance. No fractures or subluxations. There is asymmetric bulging of the annulus at L5-S1 slightly narrowing the left neural foramina.I see no focal herniation or nerve root impingement.No significant hypertrophy or degeneration of the facets Conus is at it's normal height. IMPRESSiON: Mild degenerative change L5-S1 disk level.No fracture,herniation or focal lesion. |

well I am not a Doc but I bet you will get a notice blaming the pain on DDD and excess weight....
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

You have a bulging disk at the L5-S1 and it is not pressing on the nerve.
8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |
