Has anyone had this hand surgery?
I went to the dr today, been having pain in my left hand. Dr said I have DJD to (CMC) joint of my LT. thumb. He said I have no joint left, gave me a cortisone shot and said bottom line is; I need surgery on the hand. He spoke about fusion of the joint and said I would not be able to move my hand.
Has anyone on this board had this surgery before and is this a surgery where scar tissue might be a future problem? Also seeing dr for my knees & back, both wc related, my hand is not.
