RE: Off Work
Cervical,

Up until last week when I ran out due to no insurance, I had been taking 30mg of cymbalta in the morning and 60mg at night, just before bed. It wasn't until I ran out and started going through withdrawals, that I understood how much it did for my nerve pain. My feet are in constant pain now, and even morphine 50mg x2 a day doesn't touch it. Tomorrow is going to be a real blast driving round trip to the DFW area.

However, what might work for one, might not work for another, as with all medications. And before you judge whether it is working for you or not, give it at least a week to get into your system and start doing what it is supposed to do after that time.

I truly hope that this works for you.

RE: Off Work
He is starting me out with 30mg. but i have to wait for wc to approve the script, hopefully tomorrow. He also sent in a c84 a month ago for me to see a ortho, still heard nothing. his office sent a copy and note to my attorney. I will call the attorney tomorrow...They have 10 day to respond. they are well over that.. i wish they could be fined or something.

RE: Off Work
stopped by work today and my script will still not go through on WC. Still comes up saying needs prior approval. I HATE WOEKMANS COMP. I called the 3rd pary billing company yesterday I guess the WC adjuster cold not get off her ass and fix it for me. Today I called my DR's office and talked to the person who handles all the WC paper work and told her, She promised she would call that company today.. Well it is 6:30 pm and I have not heard from my Pharmacist or one of my techs. Begining to look like I want have the Cymbalta to start on this week end. But we are open untill 10pm. Will probably have to have it filled with my regular health insurance if I want to start it any earlier. Not sure if that is what I want to do, as the Dr. has me off work for 2 weeks to try this drug out with. Well if I do not use my reg. insurance for it and they do not approve it within that time frame, it will just be another reason for him to keep me off work for a longer time. Who wins and who looses?

RE: Off Work
Pay for it with Your Health Insurance, and Send the Bill to W/c for Them to Reimburse Your Ins. Co. You need to get this Started in Your System, and if You don't have an Attorney that can Step in, and it's Late in the Eve. on Friday anyhow and Most Attorney's are Probably Gone Anyway, if You have One Contact them Monday with what You had to do. If I have a Dr. Appt. that w/c says No On, My Medicare Picks it Up and My Attorney gets it Straightened Out. My Wheelchair was $5700.00, and Medicare Paid, and w/c had to Reimburse when I Won, the Judge Made Sure of that! Best of Luck, and get those Meds. I believe they are to Help Nerve Inflammation, which Causes a Lot of the Pain We Feel, and I Hope it Helps You!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!
