RE: Right shoulder injury....1st time WC
Hi cindy..I am also from PA and a shoulder person. I suffered along with my shoulder a cervical injury, lumbar, right knee and ankle. My shoulder is by far STILL after just about 3 years the worst. As llike Lilly I had probably 12 injections in my shoulder over a two year period. Before and after surgery , the surgery failed. Did so much PT before and after surgery I can't even remember. I had a large rotator cuff tear that did not show up on my first MRI. The surgery was for impingement syndrome. I had an abnormal acromium bone that was compressing a nerve. After surgery I ended up with frozen shoulder 3 months later. My last MRI showed more damage than was there before surgery. I don't have full use of my arm and have pain constantly from my shoulder through my arm and hand.
ALways keep in mind that WC does not work the way any other system does. It took 14 months for the IC to pick up my case. I have settled and it's over with for me except for the pain. Good luck and keep us posted. One thing I have to say, the stenosis in my neck has stopped progressing since I haven't worked. Capricorn God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |
