RE: Carpal Tunnel/Repetitive Stress Syndrome in TN-Workers Comp Issue
Update.....
Well after going to the Dr last week I was referred to have an EMG done. Me & my employer was told by the AIG Adjuster last week or the week before that she would have an answer as to whether or not my claim would be excepted or denied on this past Tuesday Jan 20th. Well Tuesday came and went and we never heard anything. So today I got a call from someone wanting to schedule my EMG for this coming Monday Jan. 26th,So we went ahead and scheduled it. So I got to thinking about my claim and what the status was so I decided to call the AIG Adjuster myself. I got NO answer and her voicemail said her box was fulled so I hung up. I then decided to call the nice lady at TN WC and asked her to look it up and as I had thought,The AIG Adjuster denied my claim!!! Now for the interesting part of the story!!! The TN WC lady told me that when she called the AIG Adjuster last week and told her that she had to offer me a panel of Dr.'s, the Adjuster told the TN WC lady that she had already denied my claim. The WC lady told her how can you deny a claim before you have even seen any medical records etc!! She (WC lady) then told the Adjuster that that isn't how the law works and that she must give me a panel of Dr.'s. Anywa,Long story short..... The WC lady is going to contact the AIG adjuster to see why she denied my claim. Then WC will take it over and review it and they will now determine if it is compensable or not etc. So I will not have the EMG until they decide whether or not my claim will be excepted or denied by them(WC). I just can't get over the AIG adjuster denying a claim before having all the facts or medical records etc. Unbelievable!!!! She ws royal bitch to me the 1 and only time I spoke to her. I hope the TN WC lady lets her ass have it like she did before. Sorry this post is so long.... [/color] ~Tizz~ |
