RE: Carpal Tunnel/Repetitive Stress Syndrome in TN-Workers Comp Issue
If you are in alot of pain you can go to the ER. Tell them it is a WC related injury and they will give you pain meds. and tell you to splint it. At least you will have someone looking at it and giving you something to keep you comfortable before your work sends you to a ortho or neurologist.

That is what I did a week before I put my claim in. I went to the ER and they gave me pain meds, told me to wear a splint and not use that hand. I went to work after using a heat pack and could not do it. I dropped the needle and then cried that I was going home for the day and rest etc. Forced to fill out a paper for wc and then sent to my employers doctor the same day. So if you cannot wait for them, get treatment now for relief. Do you own a brace???

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%
