RE: Depression
you can change attys at any time; there will be a single fee that's shared. Each late payment requires an automatic penalty payment of 10%.
you can also file with the comp court for a much larger penalty when the delays are unreasonable.
make sure the doctor is updating the carrier with current disability information.
you can also file a complaint with the audit unit

RE: Depression
I know how hard it is to handle. Ive been going thru this for 7 yrs. My case is a bit more complicated thats why it has dragged on for so long but i just recently settled with the insurance co as Perm Partially disabled inclusive of industrial component and payments are to continue for life with full medical on my neck and back. I was a single mother trying to live on 85.00 a week .I used my credit cards and retirement account to get by. I was severely depressed . The pain was and still is unbearable. I had no one to help me keep up with the massive amounts of paperwork i encountered . No one to help me get to my appts. I had to take taxis because i wasnt strong enough physically to endur the Bus transportation. Im not trying to scare you , Im just letting you know that we have it in us to get thru it and do whatever it takes to get thru it. There IS light at the end of the tunnel. Sher
