RE: Still waiting for Commissioner's Ruling
Thanks for everyone's support.  Hopefully my jerk ex-lawyer will release the funds out of the trust account soon.  I sure have learned alot about South Carolina Workers Compensation during the last 3 1/2 years.  And, SC just passed a new law regarding repetitive motion injuries which will make it harder for an injured worker with repetitive motion claims to receive benefits.  They are also doing away with the Second Injury Fund. ÂÂ

RE: Still waiting for Commissioner's Ruling
Needs.....I might be wrong but I have read that PA is pasing a law that no pre-exisiting injuries will be covered by WC anymore. Maybe Limbo can jump in and let me know.

RE: Still waiting for Commissioner's Ruling
Hi Needyhands, I'm from Kansas and my attorney told me about the changes in the law with repetitive motion claims.
He said it will inpact my claim. Must not be just a state law. |

RE: Still waiting for Commissioner's Ruling
Update - Well, remember those "30 days" the insurance carrier's attorney had to submit a revised settlement and agreement to the Commissioner? They did submit it - on the 29th day. I got a copy of the paperwork in the mail. They waited the day before the deadline date so the letter would be postmarked within the time limit. Jerks - I knew they would do that. Now - let's see how long before the Commissioner signs off on this and the ball gets rolling. I know my ex-attorney has no intention of releasing my settlement funds until he gets the approved revised documents from the Commissioner.
